Been working more in Photoshop these past few days. I want to get better at drawing only on the computer. Also can’t wait to be on the boarding on the mountains again.

The Mystery of Irma Vep

Here are the two big props I made for The mystery of Irma Vep. One is a full size mummy, and the other is wooden leg that needed to be thrown on stage every night. I also threw in some shots of the set and cast while we had the good lighting. Shelves had to be stocked with worldly riches to make their travels seem more varied

Ghost Train

I made two props for this show, the rest was mostly found. I made the directional lamb below, and the Friday the thirteenth rip away calendar one the wall. The show was great for being able to be part of the sound effects for the train. The set came out awesome with all the black lights on.

Bayonetta

A gift from last Valentines Day to my love Kim Hui. Made from super sculpey, wire, and part of my graduation gown. Glad to have found a use for that ugly hunk of fabric I would never wear again.

The Boston Babydolls present French Kiss

Here are a few props I did before I got the job working for the barnstormers. The First one is a about a ten foot high Eiffel tower made completely out of christmas lights and wire. The second picture contains eight props I made for the lovely girls of the Boston Babydolls to dance behind. I made three easels, three painters pallets, and two paintings that is a women’s chest wearing only pasties.

Room Service

This play had a large portion of props, and I only got to make one, everything else had to be found. Thank you Gatorade bottle top for helping me make the ice bag. Oh that's right i also made toast, well not really just toasted it.

Almost Maine

I made bags of love, I think it was around 14 bags of different sizes.

The Miser

The Miser gave me a chance to breath a little this summer. I was able to make a fake ham, a bag of coins and a beam balance.

Wait Until Dark

Wait Until Dark was a fun show to do props, I didn’t get to build much which was a bummer but what I did make is one of my favorite props of the summer. Geraldine, the sexy female switchblade used by the villain Roat. He had to throw the knife, so that meant there had to be three separate but identical knives. One that was a working switchblade with cardboard blade, one that was rigged in the wall to fling up to mimic the knife being thrown. The last one was made to stay open and be in Susy’s pocket for her to pull out during one of the black outs. The only photo I got of that one is the picture with fridge open. Also got to make some brass knuckles, but other then that the show was mostly interior props I pulled or bought.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

First big show of the season took a bit of time with the 4 swords, didn’t really matter in the end two of them got broken by actors before the show opened including the best one. Also three of them had to be shortened. I threw in some of pictures before they were painted because they were still at there original length. Also made a Far side chicken, and a flag.
